Our Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) are those who work closely with the individuals who have intellectual and developmental disabilities in their own homes, apartments, group homes, and day programs. Our DSPs focus on helping the individuals we serve become an active part of their community and providing support in the least restrictive environment possible.

Positions Fit for You
Day Program or Community Group Homes DSP
Do you like engaging group activities and spending time building relationships with people? Our Day Program DSP or Community Group Home DSP positions might deliver the right dose of interaction you want in a career. In these roles, you would enjoy a work environment filled with fun that lets you mingle with staff members and socialize with a variety of Arc of Acadiana clients.
Daytime In-Home DSP
Do you enjoy the rush of the road, working one-on-one with others, and getting to change your scenery throughout the day? Our Daytime In-Home DSP positions offer the upbeat work style you might be searching for. In this role, your daily schedule will keep you moving from home to home as you pay all your favorite clients a visit to check their progress and assist with tasks.
Nighttime In-Home DSP
Perhaps you’re at your professional best after the sun goes down, or maybe you need additional work that doesn’t conflict with other responsibilities. If you enjoy night hours in a relaxed, one-on-one environment, our nighttime in-home DSP role could be an ideal fit. This position offers dialed back DSP duties in a calming residential setting with your assigned client.
Part-Time DSP
Do you prefer flexibility above all else in your work days? Are you juggling multiple jobs or responsibilities? Our part-time DSP positions offer the freedom you need to pursue other interests and manage other jobs. Whether you’re looking for daytime or nighttime work, we have a variety of shift options to accommodate you.
